Am I the A-hole for expecting my friends to rarely help me with chores?

My roommates and I have been living together for about six months. We've made a terrible agreement where we each take turns doing the cleaning, but lately, it feels like I'm always the one handling the work. Last week, my friend just didn't care to do their turn. I got really frustrated because they just left it for me. I told them that it was rude, and they started arguing. Now, they're saying I'm making a big deal out of nothing. Am I really the asshole here?

Should I find new roommates?
